Mikey Lowell remains hot in AAA

It would sure be great if Tito could get him into the lineup for several games in a row.  He could rest Papi, Youk, and Beltre over a period of 3 days to get Mikey some MLB AB's.  He continues to see the ball well and connecting.

    Wow, another banner night for Mikey!! This has both positives and negatives. On the plus side, he's letting all the haters know that his career's not over. There have been so many people-fans, the media, management-that wrote Mikey off after his surgery. He worked his tail off to be in the lineup on Opening Day 2009, and he hasn't quit yet. To all those who believed 36 is old and washed up, IN YOUR FACE!!

    On the downside, the AAA Laser Show means other teams have a potential interest in Mikey. Yep, I'm totally selfish. It's all about me. I want him to stay in Boston, play 3rd base and hit bombs over the Monster. I'd hate to see him traded. If he doesn't get traded, he stays in Boston and doesn't get to play. That's not good either.

    There's no happy medium for anyone here...well maybe for Mikey if he gets to play someplace. Texas has shown a renewed interest in Mikey. Whatever. If they were serious, they'd be on the phone with Theo immediately! Who wouldn't want Mikey on their team? I can't say enough good things about this guy. Whatever happens, I will never forgive the jack-ass GM for the way things have shaken out for Mikey.
