Oh my gosh, I'm emotionally drained!! What a freakin game!! Dice-K looked flat, the offense looked flat. I figured the final score would be 4-2 Tigers. Then BAM!! Something special happened. Kudos to Tito for using his head and gettin' Freight Train Atchison in there. He looked great! And then who got called on?? Okie-Dokie. The fear set in that another inning was going to get blown wide open. But I have to say that Okie pitched the best I've seen from him in quite a while!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Oritz is elated that he's shut all the haters up (i.e. Boston media). After striking out with the bases loaded a couple innings before, I really was nervous for his final at-bat. If it wasn't before, Papi's place in Red Sox lore is permanently entrenched after last night and tonight. But oh my gosh...please pass the Pepto!
I'm just spent. Now it's a waiting game for the hammer to come down on Mikey. I have a feeling he's gonna to be released. This is gonna to hurt.
