Kudos to 'Sox scouting...

I never heard of Eric Patterson.  He has contributed with two HR's tonight.  Nice pick-up.

Recently, the Globe had an article about the 'Sox scouting director, former GM at KC (I believe).

These timely pick-ups and well-stocked farm system have kept the 'Sox afloat during this injury-filled season.

I just saw where Andy Pettite was named to the All-Star team to replace our Buchholz.

  1. Yes, scouting has been busy lately. Perhaps the Sale of the Century was the reacquisition of "Money Ball" Cash. Who better to trust our starters to than Uncle Buck?

I'm so disgruntled with the All Star situation. Of course Andy Pettite's going to replace Buch! I'm sure Joe Girardi lost a ton of sleep over which Yankee might replace a downed Sock. (Sorry, but the Mass-holes of Boston have accepted me with open arms.) The only thing that will make me feel better about the whole All Star thing is that I'll be watching the game with RemDawg and El Tiante! I think Jerry's place has NESN!!
