At least the 'Sox have someone of Lowell's caliber to step in. The only positional/DH players who have not missed significant time this year is: Big Papi, Scutaro, Beltre and Drew -- anyone else?
This has been the year of the DL for our beloved 'Sox.

Drew cannot be counted as having had nothing wrong with him this season. There's always something wrong with Nancy. Big Papi and Beltre have somehow avoided the MASH unit thus far. And, Bard, Pap, Atchison, Wake, and Lester have steered clear. Let's hope it stays like this.
ReplyDeleteI'm already hearing, "will Mike Lowell stay healthy now that he's playing?" How come no one asks this of Drew?? Mikey's not made of glass, people! Here's hoping the MASH unit is on it's way to Yankee Stadium and the Trop!!
