Theo called this a "bridge" year. Wonder if he had a pontoon bridge in mind which is what the 'Sox roster has been all year.

Call it karma. Call it Mike Lowell's karma. How else does one explain this? I know it's karma. I know because I've been calling Theo names for days now--well, longer than that, but really the past few days. I go to get in my truck tonight and it wouldn't start--battery died. Karma. Although, you'd think my good karma for Mikey would've outweighed the bad. Nope. The good news is that I spilled some salt before dinner, so hopefully that will turn things around.
ReplyDeleteSame for the Sox. Karma sacrifised Youk for the good of the team. Mikey's said all season that he's basically been on hold until either Beltre, Youk or Ortiz went down. We wasn't wishing for it, but sometimes karma happens. I hope this is the start of the resurgence of the Sox. Sorry Youk, but take one for the team son!!
