MannyD to the Rockies for a Single-A prospect

The Globe reports that this prospect is # 16 in the Rockies farm system.  I hate to see MannyD go.  When he was overpowering, he was unhittable, then he would go stretches without finding the strike zone.

    I'll bet this is the first of many changes this club will undergo in the not too distant future. So if this new guy's not ready to go for us, does that mean we get Bowden back in the interim or do we try the new guy out at the risk of an implosion on the mound? Hmmmm...

    The rosters should expand soon -- September 1st? Bowden should be recalled though there is something about a 10-day wait. I am not very up on these option, recall, etc. rules involving minor players. I do not know that minor leaguer has only so many options before he has to clear waivers.
