This has been a great story in 2010. A huge question mark coming out of Spring Training, he leads the club in wins and could make a solid case for the Cy Young.
Hopefully, Bard and Pap can seal the victory for him today.

A much needed win today!! Buch really is an ace in his own right. To have not one, but two rain delays and to stay focused enough to pitch and pitch fabulous is the mark of an ace. I know the rain delays screwed me up. I got nothing done today. I'm glad I didn't have to pitch. My hat's off you to Buch Nasty!
ReplyDeleteI was a little surprised to see Bard come in when he did, especially as the King of the Dry Humps was out there throwing. I suppose it worked out for the best. The Cat did a bang up job in closing the Jays down. Still, I scratch my head every game over the operations of this bull pen.
I have to say that perhaps Mikey's reading our blog. I saw a lot less taking of the first pitch, especially in late innings. He got a base hit that ended up being wasted, but it only takes that one hit to unleash the giant. Go Mikey, and lay off the hair!!
