Bill Hall

has 16 HRs this season in a part-time role.  I have never managed a MLB team before, but seems to me, Tito needs to find a way to get him in the lineup daily.  I know he is not a natural OF but he can by replaced in late innings with someone else.  In a lineup devoid of Youk's bat, seems to me someone with 16 HRs is not a bad replacement -- am I missing something?

  1. What else can we say about "Everyman" Hall? I, for one, am pleasantly surprised. When the season started my first reaction was "who the heck is this Bill Hall?" I'll be honest. I totally had my doubts that he'd be any kind of effective for our team. But he won me over with his versatility and his string of quality at-bats. I was super impressed when he was called on to pitch and ended up striking out one of those punk bastard Yankees!!

Since the MASH unit stayed at Fenway for pretty much the whole season, Everyman was everywhere, filling in for the fallen. I have a great appreciation for what he brings to this club. I expect great things from him as we head into the post-season (yes, you heard me right!)
