Win one for the Perk-er....good luck Celtics!!!

Calling Captain Paul Pierce.  Time to bring out your "A game" tonight.  May it be said that "the Truth" came up big and the Celtics one this one for their fallen center.  Otherwise, it will be a long winter.  Regardless, this may be the last time we see the 2nd generation of the "Big 3" playing together.

    I don't have any analytic comments to offer. Pro basketball's just not my thing. All I have to add is the mantra "Beat LA, Beat LA, Beat LA!!"

    Just suppose it happens. I wonder if our peeps to the north will take to the streets and set things on fire a la Maryland Terrapin fans??

    I must admit that I have not watched a single minute of the NBA Finals. Though the Celts have been my team since the 60's, I just cannot connect with the current players. They ain't Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parrish (the original Big 3).

    Beat LA!!! is my mantra, too
