Ok, I'm happy for A-Gon, but I did some math. In 7 years, when this guy's contract is up, I'll be xx years old!! And, I better be livin in Boston then too!! I hope I won't be too old to enjoy the game in 7 years.
ReplyDeleteThis contract is the latest in a series of lock downs. We've got Youk, Pedey, Beckett, Lackey, Lester, A-Gon...who else? Some of these guys will be here for the long haul. Seven years is a LONG time for a contract. So, if we're bummed out about the start of this season we may as well get comfy. Most of the guys on this team will be with us for the foreseeable future. This is not to suggest things will go down hill for us this season or any other. These guys can only get better by playing together for so long.
