    Well I for one am glad for a night off. I can get some academic work done.

    On the down side, Mr. Lackey has been passed by in the rotation. Buch will start Friday night and Awesome O'Clock won't pitch again until Tuesday night in Oakland. Now since I will be in the SanFran area on Tuesday, I'm hoping I can get the Oakland game on the tube. I'd hate to miss my huzzband pitch, Mrs. Brady! Keeping an eye on the rotation, it still looks like I'll get to see Beckett pitch live in Anaheim on Thursday night next week. I hear the weather's going to be sunny and 79! Total Beckett weather!!

    I hope by then the shitty karma has been lifted from this team. Yes, I said another bad word. What other adjective can be used to describe the season thus far? Jerry Remy, my close personal friend who autographed a baseball for me last summer, said that now is the time the team will know who its real fans are. Well, I'm stayin' but that doesn't mean everything's roses! These boys need a swift kick in the outfield to get themselve righted! I'm hoping for big things by the time I catch up with the boys in Anaheim next week!
