    Is Beckettitis catching? How rare is it that Lester implodes? Seriously the man had a Beckett moment in which he totally fell apart. The bad thing is that he had no run support from the offense. IF the offense had been up to snuff, like they were billed to be only weeks ago, Lester's little meltdown would have gone completely unnoticed. But alas, the offense was conspicuously absent yet again.

    RSN has been informed that we are in last place in the division. What??? Surely we are not the new AL East doormat!! I've seen reports that everyone is still claiming that it's early. Even the voice of reason--Charlie Sheen--is telling us to shut up and relax! But honestly, if things don't improve, there is little hope of digging out of this hole. Never in my wildest nightmares did I envision the Red Sox in last place!! Not this team!!

    If there were any positives out of Tuesday night's show, Jed Lowrie is hitting, Pedroia is hitting...and well...Varitek is engaged (and not to Heidi Watney, nor to me either for that fact!) The bench embarrassed us. Three pinch hitters, two of which just stood there and watched strike after strike go across the plate--delivered no less by "Trailer Park Trash" Farnsworth. I would rather go up there and flail away than stand there and look stupid. At least if I swung the bat people would know I was alive!!

    If someone can explain in plain English what the hell is wrong with this team, I'd love to hear it!!
