It's too bad about his contract. Quite frankly, the Sox have been more than a little patient with him. Let's rewind to the blow out from the WBC; the bad mouthing the Sox training program in the Japanese press; and the general sloppy performance since 2007. If this had been any other pitcher, Boy Wonder would have done something to rectify the situation. They paid way too much money for Dice-K for all this craziness. They should've put their foot down with the WBC. I think that's what started the slow roll down hill. You'd think Mr. Henry, the businessman, would want a little better return on his investment. The question is how long the Sox let this go on.
