Jason Bay's Injury Woes Continue As Outfielder Could Start Regular Season on Mets' DL - New York Mets - NESN.com

Though I thought his asking price for a long term deal was high, I was a big supporter of Jason Bay though he was not a super defensive OF. I hated to see him leave Boston via free agency. I believe that the 'Sox had concerns as to Bay's long term health. It appears that their concerns were valid. I wish him well and hope that he gets healthy. 1. Things are not going J-Bay's way, eh? Seriously, I liked this guy a lot. Between him and Drew, you couldn't elicit any emotions out of our left and right fielders! Talk about even keel!!

I was disappointed that this was the big fish that got away, especially in light of all the drama from last season. Yes, there was some concern about J's health, but who doesn't have questions about their health?

After the Manny antics in left, at least J was making an interested attempt to field.

I wish him him well! He's was sworn in as a citizen of the United States at Faneuil Hall in Boston. Lucky dog! Not only is he an American, but also a Bostonian!!
