    I have put in a plug for the "Moron Files." That idiot coach should know better!! Injuries like this are a possibility. If it happens in a game, well, that's the occupational hazard that comes from playing baseball. To have this happen during BP at the hands of a coach is absolutely absurd!!

    I read this coach was Manny's personal BP guy who ended up catching on with the Sox. When I read the whole story I thought, "yep, this sounds like someone associated with Manny." The Sox have a lot invested in Beckett for something like this to happen. Yes, he'll be ok, but he's not starting as planned on Thursday. His schedule, his routine in Spring Training are off, which may have some effect down the road. Head injuries these days are not to be taken lightly. He must have been wacked pretty hard to display concussion-like symptoms. If I was ownership, that coach would either take a job as water boy or he could get the hell of my team. Yes, mistakes happen, but this was a case of not using your head (no pun intended. It just came out!)

    Hope our Becketty-boo is back in business soon.
