Sox finally have hit on the right formula - The Boston Globe

The link below contains nice thumbnails on how key 'Sox players have contributed to this turnaround. They seem to have hit their stride, found the groove -- all the cliches.

Sox finally have hit on the right formula - The Boston Globe

  1. Seriously, I'm totally in love with this team!! Finally, the real Red Sox have shown up!! I'm of the school that says a bloodletting is the best kind of baseball! The Sox have totally annihilated the competition of late!! I love it!!

We all knew we'd get this team; it's just taken way longer than we originally thought. Chadd Finn or one of those guys from the Globe wrote that all the doubters have now jumped back on the bandwagon. I don't think I doubted this team; I think I was exceedingly frustrated with the stupid mistakes this team had been making. It appears, however, that they have indeed hit upon something that is working. Must be the chicken bones, vinegar and chanting! I'm telling you, it works!!

Incidentally, a shout out to Detroit pitcher Charlie Furbush! I love this kid and not just because his name is "FURBUSH." He was with the Toldeo Mudhens and now he's finally at the big dance. Can I ask why we didn't sign this kid? I mean, Theo doesn't have an eye for pitchers so why the hell not? Although I vowed NOT to wear any other Sox jersey but Mikey's, I might make an exception if FURBUSH played for Boston!
