Fortunately, we have Cam and, in a pinch, Josh Reddick at Pawtucket to play RF. Rumor has it that Dice-K may need the Tommy John procedure? If so, I feel better knowing that Wake can step up to fill that slot in the starting rotation.

Well in all fairness to Nancy, he's done way better this year than in years past. If he has a tight hammy every now and then, we can live with that. A game here, a game there. That's ok.
ReplyDeleteRumors are swirling about Dice-K and Tommy John. If that's the case, his Red Sox stint may be ovah! I think his contract is up this year. Good grief, has it been 4 years already? I don't want to eliminate Dice-K completely from the picture, but I'm really pulling for Wake and 200 career wins. I hope he gets the opportunity for those 6 more Ws.
