These two guys continue to go at each other publicly. Though I am not a fan of Ozzie Guillen, I will give him his due as having managed the 2005 ChiSox to a WS championship. Ozzie seems to enjoy the limelight a bit too much for my liking and he plays to the camera. Jenks needs to put the ChiSox past behind him and focus on being a Bosox. I think his addition is an important one to keep from seeing Bard burn out from overuse and as an insurance policy if Pap struggles.
Good to see Youk, Pedey, Ells, and Cam back in action against their college opponents yesterday.

Really, how long is this war of words going to go on? Ozzie is not the kind of guy you mess with. I even named one of cats after him. (For the record, the cat cusses me out in Spanish!) Now that's sayin something! Seriously, Jenks needs to grow up and focus on his pitching for Boston. If he bombs out due to this petty distraction, the fans are going to let him have it!
ReplyDeleteThe exhibition games are always good fun. If our guys can't come up with some theatrics against the college guys then there's something radically wrong. Of course, hitting a college kid's fast ball ain't the same as hitting off a bona fide pitcher. Let's hope the boys continue to have a good spring.
