To me the batting order is exactly as it's been in years past with the exception of Sweeney and Ross. I've actually been impressed with Cody Ross this spring despite his being Nick Swisherish in personality. I think he adds a plus to the lineup.
The pitching siutation is what worries me. The bullpen's pretty under powered. Bard is stinking up the joint as a starter. I'd love to kick Cherrington is the behind for thinking he could make Bard a starter and not get us any pitching in off season in order to save a buck. Let's just say Dice-K can pitch for real in June. He'll definitely be on a pitch count and may not start every 5th day. Why take our chances with Bard, who's not used to pitching more than an inning or two? If he ends up in the rotation, I don't think it's going to be pretty.
