Lester is saying the right things and seems to have the right attitude. One cannot help but have respect for an individual who admits his mistakes, does not make excuses, and seeks to make amends. We will have to see how far and long that goes into the marathon 162-game season.

I have to say that both Lester and Beckett are completely different guys this season compared to last. Beckett's post-pitching press conference yesterday was amazing! Articulate. Even-keeled. Nice. Who is this guy and what has he done with Beckett?
ReplyDeleteI know the guys are trying to make amends for last season's flop, but they and everyone else need to move on. Don't try too hard because it will seem fake. Winning will make everything better.
