Our fellow blog partner, Southpaw, was in Fenway today. Must have been emotional to bid farewell to Mike Lowell and more than likely 'Tek.
Nice to see our beloved 'Sox play spoiler and knock out the Yankees from winning the division.

Yep, I spent Sunday at Fenway Park with the boys for the final game of the season. I just had to be there. I have to say that I think Awesome O'Clock, aka John Lackey, pitched his best game of the season. He was nailing every pitch! It's taken this long, but I think the Boston fear factor has come and gone. I think next season, we're going to get the Lackey we always wanted!
ReplyDeleteThe Sox have their work cut out for them this offseason. Beltre, Vic, Ortiz, Tek, the bullpen!! A word of advice for Boy Wonder: don't screw up!! There will be no more bridge years. The fans won't stand for it.
I'm down that there's no more baseball until February. Yes, there's the playoffs, but I can't watch either the Yankees or the Rays since I don't like either team. So, stick a fork in me because I'm done until February. Just think, I might actually get some work done this offseason!
