Scutaro talks signal that Cherington isn't done
Trading Youk to free up money for another starter seems like a good move. Youk has been injury prone past few years.

So far, this FO is pretty good at blowing smoke. Who would we get for short? The idea behind a so-called trade would be to free up money for another signing. Seriously, Cherrington's not exactly conveyed the impression that he knows what he's doing. Is Mike Aviles an every-day shortstop? Nick Punto perhaps? I like him and he might prove to be a good signing.
ReplyDeleteLooking at the list of available free agent 3Bmen, who'd be a good fit if Youk would get traded? I don't see anyone on the market that really sticks out. Jorge Cantu?? Casey Blake (not a big fan of his.) Nick Punto?
The clock is ticking for free agents and teams. Pitchers and catchers report in less than a month!!
